NYC Tours
April 15th, 2008
My sister in law is currently living in New York city and we have been able to do some traveling an d have visited her several times over the last two years. She is living in Manhattan and space is cramped but we have been very lucky to stay for extended periods of times and enjoy so much of what this glorious city has to offer.. Every time I go I wish we could stay longer . The city is known for being expensive- but here a a few things that you can do for free or for a very reasonable price while visiting the city.
It wasn’t what I would call fun, but it was definitely interesting, not just for the information provided, but just the very different perspective of the city since I was on the open top deck.So when my friend asked if it was worth it to go on a bus tour of NYC Tours, I was of two minds about it. I don’t know. It’s kind of expensive, but at the same time, could be worth it. On the http://www.citysightsny.com site, they offer between US$37 - 49 for hop on/hop off buses. Top it up another US$50 and you get the helicopter tour near the Statue of Liberty. I told my friend to do that instead. I mean, if you’re going for the experience, might as well go for the one that is really unique, especially if its not going to cost that much more.
